The Norwegian Government is heavily invested in reaching achieving its goals under the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. The only way it can do so is by reducing oil and gas emissions, reforming how offshore platforms work by converting them to electric-powered, and decommissioning rigs in the most sustainable way. The Government has planned investment in 35 projects, including wind energy.
