Some of the projects we’ve completed in this industry include upgrading rail jack systems that can lift up to 80 tonnes via a safety-monitored control system.
We’ve carried out 15 such installations, including a system for the Porto Metro, in Portugal, capable of lifting a whole tram via 16 jacks (expandable to 32).
A wealth of rail expertise
We’ve built systems for bogie rotation, including a solution that can be mounted on the back of flatbed carriages and used to replace tracks up to 200m in a single lift.
It comprises 32 radio-controlled jib cranes spread across 16 carriages and was designed to enable operators to allocate carriages to different locations if they get re-coupled in a different position on the next run.
We’ve also supplied a train turntable for Hitachi trains, along with electrical harness jacking trolleys.
