Banelec are proudly celebrating 20 years as a company. Since being founded in 2000, the company has gone from strength to strength; from originally designing and manufacturing hazardous area electrical control panels, Banelec have progressed into automation and robotic solutions, frequently combining both principles.
Year on year Banelec have increased productivity and turnover, building on their returning customer base. Our customers’ needs are at the heart of everything that Banelec design and manufacture, and we want to say a big thank you to our customers, both new and returning, for the opportunities and challenges they have provided us with.
To mark the occasion managing director Dean Banner is taking part in 20 challenges, as chosen by members of staff at Banelec. Dean’s first challenge saw him take to the ice in January to test his balance and co-ordination, his ice-skating career didn’t last long, and we can’t see him being hailed the next John Curry, but we’ll give him a 10/10 for effort.
There are plenty more challenges on the horizon, from riding a penny farthing to combat archery, knife forging to indoor skydiving, we definitely recommend you keep your eyes peeled for the next instalment of Dean’s 2020 Challenge.
